A true “insider” wine. The estate is being run by second generation Jeff Berrouet, whose father spent 44 vintages as winemaker at Petrus, and now his brother Oliver continues the legacy at the Pomerol icon.

The nose offers freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and crunchy wild strawberry with a hint of raspberry, toasted touches as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and pepper in the background. The palate is fruity, fresh, and well-balanced, it expresses notes of cassis and wild red berries, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg and almond.
