The region of Pohronie, Slovakia has a deep medival wine history, providing wines so rich in taste its rumored on the kings at the time had outlawed its importing as the wines quality was so far above the larger towns at the time. Using organic cultivation methods these wines are then aged in oak barrels made from wood from the Carpathian Basin, ensuring the notes of Vilagi are present in each bottle.

It is prepared in a traditional way of culturing followed by twelve months of fermentation.
