2018 a colder vintage than usual which resulted in lighter wines with a lot of fruit and very velvety traits. We select our grapes by parcels; 85% Tempranillo from Via Vieja de Arriba, Via Vieja de Abajo, Arenillas and Pajarcillos, 10% Mazuelo from Faisanes, and 5% Graciano from Barbarroja. This wine has a long maceration of 21 days in tank. It is then aged in French (40%) and American (60%) oak barrels for 15 months. The rest in bottle. Bright red colour. Fine and elegant nose with notes of blackberry jam and red fruits of the forest together with well-assembled oak. Good fruit expression, balanced, ample and persistent. Long acidity and aftertaste.
