Tenuta Olianas is a completely organic winery located in Sardinia. They combine tradition harvest and argicultural methods, like using horse drawn ploughs to till the soil instead of relying on farming machinery. Along with their organic practises they engage in biodynamic practices which produce the best quality native grapes. Olianas utilitizes natural yeasts in their process then ages the wine for 8 months in smaller french oak barrels to give each wine a complete palate.

This cannonau has a deep red color for how young the wine is. On the nose aromas of dark chocolate, tobacco and rich red fruits are detected from the oak ageing. On the palate it has delicately balanced tannins offering a fresh mouthfeel, rich fruit flavors and a longer finish with the perfect acidity. Pairs well stews and roasts.
