Matas Cruzat’s time spent working with the Mullineux, who make some of South Africa’s best Syrahs, clearly paid off. This is made with the 300 clone from a vineyard that’s only 20kilometres from the sea and has incense and pepper aromas, lovely texture, blackberry fruit and stylish oak. Drink date: 2022-2028.
