This single malt is aged for 16 months in shochu-filled ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at cask-strength, recently winning 2020 WWA “Best Japanese New Make”. Kanosuke won “Best Japanese Craft Distillery of the Year” and “Best Newcomer” from Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition in 2019.
