Distiller Notes: Age is not just a number. Tequila Herradura Aejo matures in the barrel for 25 months, more than twice the 1 year age requirement. This patience is rewarded with a beautiful amber color and a complex, spicy taste. Our Aejo has a deliberately smooth taste that melts across your tongue, with hints of sweet, dried citrus fruit and toasted oak. Tequila Herradura Aejo was introduced to the world by Casa Herradura in 1962.
Dark amber that hints at its warmth and oaked aging. Aromas of cooked agave blended with spice and floral notes. Remarkably smooth on the palate, with notes of cooked agave, toasted oak and dried fruit.

Bright gold in the glass, look for a fresh and breezy aroma that mixes grassy notes with gentle vanilla. It’s light and soft on the palate, showing honey, pepper and banana before finishing on baking spice and spearmint notes.
