In this wine, one finds a full lemon hue with a touch of gold; the aroma is abundant, characterized by floral notes, tart apple, lemon cake, and the earthy scent of petrichor. The wine possesses a full-bodied texture with a hint of glycerine and subtle minerality. It finishes long on the palate. Surprisingly, despite expectations, it exhibits characteristics akin to a Batard, rather than a Meursault, which is usually associated with excessive oak, smoke, and reduction, qualities that are not preferred. However, time has evidently allowed for the oak to integrate beautifully. This particular bottle stands out offering a delightful surprise.
