Produced by Carlos Blas and family, Madre Espadin is made from fully mature agaves harvested from their farms in Miahuatlan, Matatlan, and San Dionisio. Certified as Mezcal Artesenal, Madre Mezcal is made in small batches by skilled mezcaleros and their families in Oaxaca, including Jose Ines Garcia Morales in San Dionisio, the Vasquez family in Miahuatlan, and Carlos Blas in Matatlan.
