Maiden is our Anniversary celebration, a blend of fresh barley wine with the same beer aged in a multitude of barrels over time. This year a standout Armagnac barrel provided a rich base which could then be augmented with the complexity of tannins, perceived acidity and depth from elsewhere. The result is a heart-warming treat, with a luxurious aroma inviting you in to caramel and burnt sugar sweetness that remains supremely drinkable. This is one of the most rounded, balanced vintages of recent years and we think youre going to love it.
