Pinot Noir, Mumms signature grape variety, defines the personality of Mumm Cordon Rouge. Comprising 40% of the assemblage it is the engine room of the blend, bringing the power and structure that contrasts with the freshness and elegance of Chardonnay (30%). These two contradictory yet complimentary components are balanced by the softness and fruitiness of Pinot Meunier (25%) and magnified by the addition of reserve wines (up to 30%) that also guarantee consistency.
