80 Proof (ABV 40%)
Crafted from perfectly ripe Blue Weber Agave, this expression offers a rich tapestry of texture and tantalizing purity. The nose entices with the fragrance of sun-warmed almonds and subtle earthiness, paving the way for luxurious layers of slow-cooked agave. A burst of citrus freshness dances across the mid-palate, leading to a succulent, lingering finish. Created not just to sip, but to savoran invitation to share and celebrate the artistry within each nuanced sip.
SACRED water and perfectly ripe, Mature agave. united.
Take sacred Irish well water. Add hand-sourced, farmer-direct Blue Weber Agave from the renowned Los Altos region in Arandas, Mexico. Then ferment and distill at the famous Tequila El Mexicano distillery with natural, French yeast.
The result is an additive-free, delightfully distinguished tequila that unites great nations as well as everyone who drinks it.
The Irlands story:
Mexico and Ireland. united.
Irlands Tequila honors the brave soldiers of the Irish San Patricios Battalion who traveled to Mexico in 1847 to fight alongside the courageous young Mexican soldiers, Los Nios Heroes, the Heroic Sons to make glorious history together. It is in essence celebrating gallantry, grit and valor. Original. Authentic. Pure. The taste of freedom.
The Battalion De San Patricios and the Los Nios Heroes. United.
In 1847, the two unlikely forces of six Mexican boys and 50 Irish soldiers found themselves defending the flag of Mexico. Together. They were hopelessly outnumbered.
Francis OConnor, a dying soldier from the Irish battalion, was annointed by a Mexican priest with holy water he had carried with him from a sacred well in his motherland. (Incredibly, it is this water from that exact same source, that Irlands Tequila is made with.)
Among the many other feats of valor that day, one boy, Juan Escutia, defied his captors, wrapped himself in his nations flag and leapt to his death from the top of Chapultepec Castle in front of the Irish fighters, uniting Ireland and Mexico.
Nobility and Courage. United.
100 years later, in 1947, United States President, Harry S. Truman, flew to Mexico and laid a wreath at the monument honoring these heroes saying, Brave men dont belong to any one country. I respect bravery wherever I see it. Old wounds of history were finally laid to rest.
Today, Irlands Tequila exists as a distillation of these events, emotions and ingredients, bringing together the past, present and future in the spirit of unity, celebration and joy.
