“The Vaultswas created from 20 of the oldest and rarest barrels of bourbon in Widow Janes possession. Head Distiller Lisa Wicker hand-selected each Bourbon to be included in the blend, setting aside their most beautiful bourbons over many years, pulled from Indiana and Tennessee stock, with each barrel at least 14 years old, some older.

The bourbon was then finished in eight-year air-seasoned American oak casks. In this process, the staves that will become the barrels are stacked outdoors, at the mercy of the elements, and divided by stickers until they are raised into barrels and then charred. The extended maturation of the staves eliminates tannins and greenness in the wood yielding a one-of-a-kind flavor profile influenced by each season.

The result is an intense whiskey with a finish highlighted by a campfire note, and unparalleled richness and depth of flavor. The Vaults is non-chill filtered and proofed to 99 with the pure limestone mineral water from the legendary Rosendale Mines of New York, which contributes to the unique mouthfeel and long finish.
