Festbier 2023 has been brewed in the traditional Bavarian style using a double decoction mash to develop depth of flavour and body. Full of bread crust and hints of caramel the special ingredient in this years Festbier is the rare UK grown Hersbrucker hops bringing the delicate aromas and fruity, spice flavours of this classic noble hop. A low, slow fermentation and extended lagering ensures a clean, soft mouthfeel, which is full flavoured and beautifully balanced. A celebration of British growers paying homage to the classics.
