The team at Garage are huge fans of Cyclic Beer Farm and their take on elegant, tart, mixed fermentation ales so they wanted to use some of that elegance in creating a kettle sour beer that steals from that playbook. This one was all about delicately balancing ingredients to bring complexity to an easy drinking sour beer.
Careful use of hibiscus, orange blossom water, vanilla and cinnamon result in a beer with a beautiful red hue that brings memories of Mexican agua de Jamaica and cranberry sauce that is paired with Christmas dinner. A dry finish with a slight rounding sweetness from the vanilla make for a very drinkable sour ale.
