After the outbreak of phylloxera indigenous variety Brancellao was virtually extinct, until Fazendo Pradio and a few other growers revived it and is commonly recognised as one of the oldestindigenousvarietiesin Galicia.
The vineyards, farmed biodynamically, are on steep terraced slopes at 350masl. Fermenetation is in stainless steel, and then aged in 300L used French oak for 8 months. Minimal filtration and SO2.
