This wine comes from high altitude vineyards (750 – 900m) in the Almansa region of Spain. A blend of 50% Monastrell, 25% Garnacha Tintorera, 25% Tempranillo and the vines are dry-farmed 45-65-year-old bush vines. It has a complex nose of raspberries, stewed plums and spices with vanilla notes. Rich and yet balanced on the palate, it has great depth and a lingering smooth finish. It goes well with red meats of all kinds.
