The careful selection and blending of the grapes result in a wine that displays a variety of dark berry flavours, such as black cherry and strawberry. The wine also has spice notes and a long finish of vanilla from the oak ageing and smooth, firm tannins that add complexity to the wine.

It pairs well with charcuterie, gumbo or grilled steak.
