Brilliant colour, with a predominantly pistachio and almond nose with lychee notes. On the palate it is powerful and well rounded.

The La Ngly and Bode terroirs enjoy ideal exposure and are unique for the diversity of their soils. Bodes soil is a sandy and silty sandstone, while La Nglys is limestone and clay, conferring a broad aromatic palette on the wines from these vineyards. La Ngly’s vineyard extends over 50 hectares and the Bode vineyard covers 25 hectares. In order to make best use of the Bode vineyard, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvdre were planted in place of the Aramon, Terret and white Carignan varieties. The grape harvester was replaced by pruning shears and crates. Bastien Paux-Rosset is responsible for cultivation, operating these 75 hectares of replanted vineyards. Sustainable agriculture is a perfect fit for our quality requirements.

Chardonnay, Grenache Gris, Sauvignon Gris, and Petit Manseng. Fermented in 600L barrels and aged in same for 6 months with daily batonnage during the first 2 months of ageing.

“An unusual white blend from this celebrated La Clape estate. Fermented and aged in demi-muids, it shows plenty of tropical fruit, melon, pineapple with a touch of lychee. Mostly Chardonnay but the lime twist and crisp acidity on the finish makes the presence of Petit Manseng duly felt.”
