Quel mariage! What a marriage, what a pairing, what a harmony! This daring, rule breaking coupling of the a Bordeaux staple (Merlot – 60%) and Rhone classic (Syrah – 40%) turns out to be an excellent expression of South Sakar mountains terroir.

The Merlot is aged in stainless steel tanks only and the Syrah around 3 years in used Bulgarian, Hungarian and French oak barrels of different sizes (225l, 400l and 500l). Unfiltered and unfined, with a minimum amount of sulphites added at bottling, this is an expressive wine.

Intense notes of ripe plums, cherries and spices, the palate is juicy with elegant body, leather and liquorice. Tannins are well integrated tannins and there is an abundance of cassis and tobacco on the finish.
