Toro Albal are one of the few bodegas to still produce statically aged Pedro Ximenez wines in the small Andalucan region of Montilla-Moriles. Laid down in large, old American oak casks in 1990, this wine was aged oxidatively for 28 years to give an unctuously rich and full-bodied wine. Intense aromas of candied fruits, dates and figs are joined on the palate with flavours of coffee, toast and tobacco.
A unique style of wine that would pair incredibly well with strong cheeses and desserts.
