Taste Profile: Shaly soils add minerality andperfume to the wine, with a natural elegance of structure. The over-ridingimpression is youthfulness and vibrancy, which bodes well for the ageingpotential of the wine.The 50% new oak is well-integrated owing to the extended maturationperiod. The entry on the palate is round and elegant, with good tanninstructure to support the abundance of fruit on the palate.

Winemaking Process: A combination of first, second and third-fill barrels wereused, comprising 50% new oak. The wine was matured for 18 months,prior to blending and bottling
