Bachelet-Monnot 1er La Fussiere Blanc 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay, coming from the premier cru site of La Fussire. It is the largest climat of Maranges (next to Santenay at the very south of the Cte de Beaune), covering an area of almost 35 hectares. It faces south towards the start of the Cte Chalonnaise, on a slope between 290 and 400 metres up. The vines were planted in the 1980s at the highest elevation point in the appellation

Taste Profile:Expect a white Burgundy of striking finesse, pear and nectarine fruit and a long, delicately chalky finish. The well-defined bouquet offers yellow fruit, lanolin and light sea spray aromas. The palate is taut and fresh with a twist of sour lemon on the entry, quite precise and focused with a sapid finish urging you to take another sip
