Grenache is historic, a little forgotten, but yet a star variety of the Swan Valley

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Grenache from the Swan Valley, Australia. The fruit comes from 35+ year old vineyards near the base of the Darling Scarp, consisting of gravel & sand over coffee rock.

Taste Profile:Bright, exuberant, modern expression of Grenache, bursting with wild strawberries, raspberry & sour cherry. It is floral, with notes of sarsaparilla & dried herbs. Juicy upfront, with a rustic tannin finish that holds it’s structure

Winemaking Process:Wild ferment with 10% whole bunchacross several small ferments. Ferments are maceratedfor around 21 days where tannin integrates and the winesreach a floral/aromatic peak. They are then blended andpressed to old oak for an eight-month maturation on lees.
