Grape Varietals & Region:A Pinot noir from the Bannwarth’s vineyards in Obermorschwihr in Alsace, France

Taste Profile: A Blanc de Noir of sorts, it’s aged extensively to pick up toasty, nutty flavours and a hint of oxidation as well. It’s a bold wine, marked by floral and herbal aromas and profound nutty, savoury, umami characteristics on the palate, whilst still keeping a fresh acidity.

Winemaking Process: The grapes were pressed slowly overnight, left to rest outside in cuve for around six months and then transferred to old barriques for a further four and a half years of ageing, with no topping up.
