Grape Varietals & Region:Castelao from Setubal, Portugal. The fruit comes from a small old vineyard located on Monte at their Herdade de Agualva. Planted in sandy soils, the resulting wine is intense, complex, and elegant.

Taste Profile:Vibrant & intense red with notes of black plum and forest berries intertwined with spices like black and green pepper, along with subtle hints of lavender. In addition to the fruit, it also exhibits characteristics of Mediterranean vegetation, perfectly integrated into a fresh and elegant profile. On the palate, it is very elegant, fresh, with a firm structure yet very polished and luxurious tannins

Winemaking Process: Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels with extra fine grain, followed by a minimum of 12 months in the bottle.
