Grape Varietals & Region:100% Merlot from a selection of parcels Chianti sub region of Tuscany, Italy. The fruit comes from 3 vineyards – Vigna Casalferro, Vigna Pecchierino, and Vigna Sodacci, which have different compositions of sand, rocks, and limestone soils

Taste Profile:Intense ruby red color. Rich and powerful nose, with hints of dark fruits: blackberry, cranberry, plum, and spices. Voluminous and warm, with delicate and enveloping tannins. The nose returns in the finish. The typical expression of the merlot from Brolio

Winemaking Process:Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with 14-18 days of skin contact. The wine then spends 21 months in tonneaux and barriques of which 30% are new oak and the remaining 70% are of second and third passage
