This could easily be called our Estate Red as it was the first wine we made in 1993 its our answer to good Cotes du Rhone Villages, although this is clearly a Barossan wine. Roughly 60% Mourvedre, 40% Grenache. Lovely fruitcake and spice nose, black cherry

Roughly 60% Mourvedre, 40% Grenache. Lovely fruitcake and spice nose, black cherry, clove, and cinnamon, with a touch of oak. Really bright and juicy, mulled wine spices alongside the black cherry and plum fruit, a touch of creamy oak and ripe tannins.
We like this wine with some age when it becomes really soft and supple.
