From Rias Baxas, this sparkling Albarino is a unique addition to the creation collection of Xurxo Alba. A specialist in albarinos, Xurxo is inspired by his love of Galicia and the albarino grape. In 2006 he established a small winery that produces grapes native to the region and often creates natural wines, including spontaneous fermentation with natural yeats. The climate however is not always forgiving and thus makes the cultivation of the vines an ongoing struggle. The soil is mostly granite, sand and slate which produces mineral notes the region is known for. While the soil is not as compromising as others and the vines have small yeilds, the quality of the wine remains a Xurxo standard.

Bubbly and fresh in nature this sparkling albarino is a lovely addition to your wine collection. On the nose it offers aromas of citrus and toasted almonds. On the palate it delivers the classic mineral salinity of the region, ripe lemon citrus with a dry lightly sweet finish. Pairs well with seafood dishes.
