Cline and Antoine Angst are relative newcomers to the very old and traditional northern Burgundy wine region where they are now based. Not coming from wine making families, Antoine dreamed about making wine for many years and finally followed his dream in 2013 where he and his wife Cline purchased a small farmin the village ofCourgis. From there, they vinifytheir superbrange of northern Burgundian winesincluding gorgeous chardonnays from several surrounding areas including Chablis and Chitry, and a wonderful, rich pinot noir from Irancy.

This superclassy Chablis has text book characteristics withwhite flowers and stone fruit on the nose, nothing in the face, just harmonious and elegent. More stonefruit on thepalate, with a hint of citrus and a lovelywhack of thatworld famous minerality. A long and fabulous palate. The vignerons of Chablis say it is all about their chalky soils that were once submerged by sea that lend to this unique mineralityto its terroir. Malo and 6 to 8 months on lees also lends to an excellent mouthfeel in this wine. It is a truly moreish dropthat you won’t be able to stop sipping until there is no more left in the bottle! Veryspecial stuff.
