Aphros Vinho has rich purple hues in the glass. The nose reveals brambly aromas of forest floor and mountain berries with a vegetal hint. Firm palate with a crispy acidity and round tannins that make it enormously gastronomic.
100%Vinho. The fruit comes from biodynamic vineyards on the south facing slopes of the Lima river.
Manual harvesting of the fruit. Stomped by foot and pressing. Natural fermentation with maceration of the skins and pip in ancient granite tanks at 2022C. Malolaction fermentation in inox vats, ageing “sur lies”.
