Aurora Cabernet Franc 2017

Compared to typical Chinon wines, this Cabernet Franc is particularly rich in vibrant fruit due to its Eastern Mediterranean location and relatively higher sun exposure.

Taste Profile:Aurora Cabernet Franc is a wine with altitude. Deep ruby colour. Raspberry and red cherry nose that extends into a gratifying mid-palate of toasted walnuts and caramel notes. Velvety mouthfeel with soft tannins and a long, lasting complex finish.

Winemaking Process: Careful handpicking of the grapesin the beginning of September. Following the initial fermentation, the wineages in oak barrels (30% new and mainly American with a few French) for 12 months before bottling.
