Bloody Hill is a second label for Yarra Valley cult-winemaker, Timo Mayer. Timo and his son, Rivar, work together on the Bloody Hill wines, selecting the fruit and and working alongside growers that they have built relationships with over many years. In addition, Rivar has added new plantings to the Mayer estate specifically for Bloody Hill, which we’re looking forward to seeing at maturity!

Taste Profile: It’s cool, fleshy with a crisp, clean finish. Vibrant citrus and fresh green melon lift from the glass, offering a bright and enticing aromatic profile.

Juicy nectarine and exotic lychee unfold with lively energy, complemented by a beautifully textured mouthfeel. A gentle phenolic grip adds depth and intrigue, enhancing the wines character. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of freshness and finesse.

Winemaking Process: Whole-bunch pressed and fermented in neutral oak, this wine showcases the purity of fruit with subtle complexity.
