For more than ten generations, the Daz Bayo family has been dedicated to the cultivation of the land in the Ribera del Duero. The tradition of vineyard cultivation in the municipality of Fuentelcsped dates back to 1177. Familia Daz Bayo vineyards were planted in the valley of the Nava stream, an ideal spot due to the sunny slopes, abundant loose soil and pebbles.

Located along the Arroyo de la Nava, a high valley just 10 miles to the southeast of modern-day Aranda de Duero, the estate comprises nearly 41ha (100 acres) in multiple parcels between 2800 and 3200 feet above sea level in elevation. The soil is comprised of limestone, marl and clay. Various exposures contribute to fruit diversity and extended harvest time. The vines range from 12-100 years of age.

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, Spain. The fruit comes from a blend of vineyards of El Monte, Valdebrero, La Viota. The vines average 20 years, grown on clayey-calcareous soils

The Daz Bayo family has been cultivating these lands for four generations, producing grapes of exceptional quality

Taste Profile: Intense purple and shiny colour. Intense nose of red fruit touch, aromatic herbs and a lightly toasted finish. Ample and well structured. Oily mouth with red fruits and minerals touches due to the terroir. The fruit notes prevail over the ageing notes.

Winemaking Process:Aged for 6 months in a mix of American & French barrels
