Chteau La Fleur de Board has been the estates first wine since 1998. Due to the innovative know-how of Hubert de Board, supported by his Technical Director Bryan Dessaint and the cellar master, Kinga Hars from Angelus., Chteau La Fleur de Board has fully blossomed and is now the pillar of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.

Grape Varietals & Region:82% Merlot,10% Cabernet Franc,5% Cabernet Sauvignon,3% Petit Verdot.18 ha of clay with a gravel subsoil on the Nac plateau and 11 ha of large gravel with 15% clay.

Taste Profile:With an intense and deep color, Fleur de Board offers a nose with a hint of red berries, blackcurrant and spices. The wine shows a good structure in mouth, soft and silky tanins. Its elegance and long length make it a vintage that stands out.

Winemaking Process:Cold soaking before fermentation at 8 to 10C alcoholic fermentation 3 to 5 weeks on skin entirely gravity-fed vinification. The wine is aged for 15 to 18 months in barrel to preserve the fruit and produce silky, elegant tannins.
