Crafted by the family-owned Duvel Moortgat brewery since 1871, Duvel Belgian Strong Ale is a top example of the Belgian Strong Pale Ale style. This 330ml bottle contains a powerful 8.5% ABV brew, with a slightly hazy straw colour and a long-lasting, cloud-like white head. The yeast strain used in Duvel comes from a Scottish culture that was acquired by Albert Moortgat during a business trip to the UK after World War I. Its subtle fruitiness and delicate taste may lead you into temptation, hence its fitting nickname “devil” in Flemish.
