A nod to our home in The City of Gardens, this latest addition to the Empress 1908 family has a rich aroma and a surprisingly understated floral palate complemented by citrus and spice notes and a hint of sweetness.

THE DISTILLERY

In 2016, we set out to create a gin unlike any other. Having always looked to our surroundings for inspiration, it was only natural that the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel and its renowned afternoon tea program called to us as the perfect place to spark our creativity. Our Master Distiller explored how each one of their teas played with our carefully selected botanicals, leading us on a multi-sensory journey. Finally, we settled on the extraordinary combination of Empress Signature Blend Tea and butterfly pea blossom, which was discovered in a blend called Blue Suede Shoes. In 2017, Empress 1908 Indigo Gin was born.

Stir over ice. Strain into a rocks glass onto a large ice cube or sphere. Garnish with an orange twist.
