Centerbe Giallo is a happy accident. We aged our beloved Centerbe in used white wine barrels for one year to see what would happen. After a year we dumped the barrels and let the spirit rest in stainless steel for 4 months. Once we tasted it, we knew we had a winner. We then added tinctures of lemon leaf and saffron, sweetened, and bottled it. 130 cases are made yearly.

The liquors are crafted by Patrick Miller, formerly of Rucola Restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to opening Rucola, he worked for 14 years at restaurants around the world. He grew up in an Italian family in Los Angeles and was strongly influenced as a child by his Italian mother and grandparents for whom the Fernet (Pianta) and Amaro (Gorini) are named.
