7 year old Single Grain which spent 5 years in ex bourbon barrels before spending 2.5 years in an Oloroso sherry butt. Bottled at cask strength at 51.3% means that when re-casked the whiskey was topped up with water, allowing it to integrate fully for two and a half years. It has bright notes of honey, golden raisin and white fruits on the nose, with a creamy mouthfeel and notes white melon, honey, golden raisin and hints of vanilla and puff pastry on the palate.
