It’s no great secret brewers love a good Westie, even if the majority of their output is hazy juice bombs. So when The brewers at Gravity Well put their heads together with the team at Full Circle, the recipe quickly evolved into a WCIPA – but a modern one with no crystal malts and an all NZ hop profile.

This one features huge quantities of the best Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka from the outstanding Freestyle Hops. As with all Gravity Well West Coasts it finishes dry and refreshing. However, unlike most of their WCIPAs, they left a fair bit of haze on this one! Shock, horror! So there you have it, a modern WCIPA featuring punchy NZ hops complete with a slightly incongruous haze…
