Maurice Gavignet Bourgogne Aligote 2022

Maurice Gavignet is a family-owned winery in Burgundy, France, with a history spanning four generations. Founded by Honor Gavignet in Nuits Saint Georges, he was born in 1879 and worked at the Domaine de la Romane-Conti until 1920 before settling in Nuits-St-Georges.

Today, the domaine continues to be known for its Pinot Noir wines, particularly those from the Cte de Nuits region. Over the last decade, the Domaine has grown with vineyards on the Cte de Beaune at Monthelie, Santenay, Savigny les Beaune and Pommard. This is how the Domaine becomes one of the pearls of the Cte d’Orien vineyard.

Winemaking Process:The fruit was hand picked & directly pressed into vats for 12 months, during which the wine was racked 3 times
