Grape Varietals & Region:100% Blaufrankisch from Burgenland, Austria. The fruit comes fromvineyards located in Neckenmarkt and Lutzmannsburg, which boast vines aged between eight and 50 years, planted in soils composed of limestone, primary rock, and marl.

Taste Profile:On the nose, it offers aromas reminiscent of blackberries, cherries and black plums, accompanied by hints of dried rosemary and oregano. On the palate, it shows an intense, polished but rough and earthy texture which takes over the palate and where notes of black raspberry appear. A red wine full of fruit, elegance and fresh acidity.

Winemaking Process:The grape clusters undergo a skin maceration lasting approximately 20 days, conducted in open vats and steel tanks, with fermentation occurring through indigenous yeasts. The resulting wine is matured in barrels of varying sizes, ranging from 600 litres to 4500 litres in capacity. Finally, the wine is bottled without filtering or fining.
