Grape Varietals & Region:A blend of Blaufrankisch, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt from Burgenland, Austria
Taste Profile: Strong ruby garnet. Wonderfully interspersed with red berries, along with fine chocolate and minimal roasted almond kernels. Extremely juicy on the palate and very easy to drink, dominated by notes of cherry, redcurrant, and a hint of tart raspberry. The power of the Blaufrankisch comes through, as does the freshness of the Zweigelt and the finesse of the Pinot
Winemaking Process:The grapes were picked by hand, partly mashed with the style skeletons in an open vat, and spontaneously fermented. The solera ageing took place in used wooden barrels with a volume of 500 to 4,000 litres. No fining or filtration and only reduced sulfurization for filling
