Pierrick Bouley Volnay 2022

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Pinot Noir from the Volnay appellation of Burgundy, France. The vfruit comes from a collection of premier cru parcels planted on predominantly clay & silt, with some limestone from the Chanlins

Taste Profile: This has a well-defined and very pure bouquet with small red cherries and crushed strawberry fruit, light rose petal aromas filtering through. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, quite candied in quality with orange zest and strawberry pastilles. Just a delicious, easy-drinking wine that will be difficult to resist in its youth.

Winemaking Process:The fruit is sorted, and then crushed & put in vats for fermentation. It is then transferred to barrels for maturation for 12 months.
