The Poe Dolcetto is a bold yet vibrant expression of this classic Italian variety, sourced from the organically farmed Split Rock Ranch in Mendocino County. Winemaker Samantha Sheehan fell in love with these old vines while scouting Grenache for her ros, captivated by their intense blueberry, plum, and strawberry flavors, bright acidity, and crunchy tannins.

Inspired by years of enjoying traditional Italian Dolcetto, Samantha and her husband, label designer Michael McDermott, crafted this California version with care and respect for the variety. Grown on a dry-farmed, family-owned vineyard, this Dolcetto retains its rich fruit profile and structure, making it a beautifully balanced and compelling New World take on an Old World favorite.
