Sammys Beach Bar Rum is introducing Sammys Lost Cask 10-year Aged Rum. Only 500 bottles will be released, including 75 bottles autographed by founder Sammy Hagar. Sammys Beach Bar Rums original rum was placed into oak casks for aging in Maui, a few thousand feet above sea level. Years later, production was relocated to Puerto Rico, but now the last of the Hawaiian batch is being released. In addition to more than a decade of aging, these are the last bottles of rum that were made from Hawaiian sugar cane, Hagar noted.

Introducing Beach Bar Rum by Sammy Hagar & Rick Springfield.
In 1978 Sammy Hagar wrote the song ‘I’ve Done Everything For You”, in 1981 he turned it over to his buddy RickSpringfiled and it became a huge hit. One night over some Beach Bar Rum mojitos Sammy asked Rick why he thought his version was so well received and he responded “Cause I’m better looking than you” . After a good laugh he told Sammy put my face on this rum and I’ll make that a hit too. Sammy acceptedthe challenge and their partnershipin Beach Bar Rum was born.
Sammys Lost Cask – 10 year aged rum
The aroma is smooth, delicate and rich in island fruits with swirling notes of crme brle, pineapple, guava, bananas, coconut pulp, plumeria flower. On the palate the natural mid-dark amber color delivers a sweetness from the pure Hawaiian sugar cane, and layers of beautiful tannic warmth and a wood barrel presence lead to a complex finish sip after sip.
