According to EU law, Steinhger may only be distilled and manufactured in Steinhagen.Only selected juniper berries are fermented and distilled.Fine grain distillate is produced in a separate firing process.Juniper lutter and grain fine distillate are carefully distilled again in large stills.This Steinhger distillate is reduced to drinking strength with water from our own well, filtered and stored until bottling.
