In 1965 the Davies family bought the Schramsberg estate in Calistoga, California with the aim of producing world-class sparkling wines. They have achieved that goal, and this fantastic Blanc de Blancs offers a very good alternative to many of the Champagne houses. Produced in the traditional method, its 100% Chardonnay with 25% of the base wine fermented in oak to give a full and rich palate.
