Taste Profile:Aromas of dried cherry, fresh figs, caramel, vanilla bean, fruit compote, cigar tobacco and spice. The palate is bold with elegant balance and complexity. Lots of dried fruit flavours, fig, coffee and subtle caramel. Elegant tannins lead to a long warm finish.

Winemaking Process:The grapes were harvested then set aside to dry naturally for 100 days in the traditional appassimento method. The wine was fermented on the skins, pressed, and then aged for 18 months in select French oak. Drinking beautifully now after a lengthy decant, however this wine will truly benefit from further time in the cellar – it will continue to age welluntil about 25 years from vintage
