Tornatore Etna Rosso DOC 2021

Grape Varietals & Region:Blend of Nerello Cappuccio & Nerello Mascalese from Mt Etna, Sicily, Italy. These are old vines planted on volcanic soil at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level

Taste Profile: A juicy red wine with aromas of violets, notes of small red fruits and hints of bitter cherries. On the palate it is full, fresh and flavoursome. A wine with a good structure, a pleasant mid-palate and a fruity, mineral and subtly savoury finish.

Winemaking Process: Harvested and selected exclusively by hand when they reach optimum ripeness. Fermentation takes place with maceration in concrete tanks at a controlled temperature of 22-25C for 10-12 days. The wine is then aged for 6 months in wooden barrels and another 3 months in the bottle before being sold
